Target students

As the aim of the project is to achieve a holistic understanding of urban ecosystems by integrating multiple perspectives:

  • biological (species and habitats—their requirements and specific characteristics);
  • human habitation (urbanism, architecture, and design for coexistence);
  • the physical environment (light, sound, microclimate);
  • cultural dimensions related to urbanism and biodiversity (traditions, aesthetic criteria, value systems, communication, education);
  • technological approaches that interact with urban biodiversity.

The project is addressed to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students specializing in any of these fields (and beyond) who are interested in working in interdisciplinary teams and workshops.
